Website Service Terms

By purchasing a Black & White Digital website subscription (the $149 launch fee and $99/month plan), you agree to these terms. They're written in plain English on purpose — this is the whole deal.

1. What we provide

A custom-designed website for your business, plus ongoing service while your subscription is active:

• Design & build of a custom website (up to 6 pages: home, services, about, contact, and similar)
• Hosting, SSL, and security — we run the infrastructure
• Edits & updates — routine content, text, photo, hours, and pricing changes, completed within ~2 business days of your request (email or text). Redesigns, additional pages beyond scope, e-commerce, or booking systems are quoted separately.
• Basic local SEO — Google Business Profile optimization, on-page SEO, search-engine submission, and a monthly summary
• Support — a real person (Andrew) reachable by email/text during business hours

2. Pricing & billing

• $149 launch fee, due to begin work
• $99/month, beginning the day your site goes live; billed monthly by card
• Rate lock: your monthly rate will never increase while your subscription remains active
• Failed payments: we'll retry and contact you; service (including the site) may be paused after 14 days unpaid

3. Term & cancellation

• Month-to-month. No minimum term, no cancellation fee. Cancel with written notice (email/text); service ends at the close of the current billing period.
• On cancellation, the website is taken offline. Everything in Section 4 remains yours.

4. Ownership — the plain-English version

• Always yours, no matter what: your domain name, your business content, your photos, your logo, and your customer reviews. If you leave, these walk out with you, free. We will never hold your domain hostage or charge to release what's yours.
• Ours while you subscribe: the website design, code, and hosting setup. We build it, we run it.
• Buyout option: at any time, you may buy your website outright for $750 flat. We hand over the complete site files and help you (or your new provider) transfer it. After buyout, hosting/maintenance is your responsibility (or optionally ours at a rate we'd agree then).
• Non-exclusive design system: we build every site on our own design framework, which stays ours and is used across our clients. What you receive — including after a buyout — is your site: your content, your branding, and a non-exclusive license to your site's design. No two clients in the same trade and market share the same look.
• Alternatively, a one-time build (you own everything from day one, no subscription) is available for $1,000.

5. Launch promise

If your website is not live within 21 days of receiving your content (photos, business details), your $149 is refunded in full.

6. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate business info, photos, and timely feedback
• You confirm you have rights to any content you give us (photos, logos, text)
• Keep your domain registration current (we'll help you set it up in YOUR name)

7. The boring-but-necessary part

• We build to modern standards but can't guarantee specific rankings, traffic, or revenue — anyone who guarantees you #1 on Google is lying to you.
• Either party may end this agreement per Section 3. We may end service for abuse or non-payment.
• Our total liability is limited to the amounts you've paid us in the prior 3 months.
• These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana.
